To edit the content of a todo, click on its title and the below dialogue will appear.
You can edit the following fields:
- Due date and time
- Set reminders
- Define if the task is repeating (recurring)
If you only need to modify the title you can rename it and hit Enter. This will immediately save the new title and close the dialogue.
Due date (and time)
You can add a due date if you like. This is needed in order to set reminders or define the todo as repeating.
You'll receive reminders as push notifications if you have the app installed (which we recommend). If you don't have the app, you'll get the reminder by email.
If you have have a task which you need to carry out at a specific interval you can use this setting. You can select between the options Daily, Weekly and Monthly.
Select an existing category - or create a new category by typing the new title. Hit Enter to save the new category name.
You can assign one or more team members to a task. If you have added a reminder, only the people assigned to the task will get the reminder.
Currently, you'll have to upload a document, photo or link to the Files board before you can attach it to a todo. We know this is not ideal, and you'll soon be able to attach documents directly to a todo.
A free text field where you can add further description. You can e.g. use it to have a continuous dialogue. If so, we suggest you to add date, timestamp and name before you add your description.
Keyboard shortcut: You can use the TAB key to quickly move between fields and all the way to the Save button. Use Shift + TAB to move one field back.
