From the file menu you have the option to create Google Docs, Sheets and Slides directly from SquidHub. This option is available for you to quickly create new documents and move your project ahead. 

Note: When you create a Google Doc directly from SquidHub we use the same methods as other products in the collaborative space including Trello. I.e. the permissions to the document are open, however, only users who know the link will have access to the document. 

The URLs to the Google Docs you create are cryptographically unguessable, meaning that no one is going to be able to guess the link to the document. Of course, if you share the URL, those who have it will be able to access the document. 

If you need to restrict the permissions to the document, you can change that inside the specific Google Doc.
